When the filter cartridge of a filter cartridge dust collector is placed diagonally or horizontally, a portion of the airflow in the dust collector wraps around the bottom of the filter cartridge for filtration. The use of downward airflow can improve the dust removal efficiency of the dust collector. It adopts a modular assembly structure and a good air pattern, with a filtration area to volume ratio of 30-40 times that of traditional filter bags, reaching 300m2/m3. At the same time, it has a small size and high space utilization rate. In addition, the filter cartridge dust collector adopts a folding form to prevent filter media, with high density, creating a large filtration area in limited space, reducing filtration speed, reducing resource waste and operating costs, extending equipment life and overall structure maintenance.

Main characteristics of filter cartridge dust collector

1. With a small pressure difference and a reasonable air inlet design, the airflow distribution inside the machine body is more uniform, and the airflow resistance is reduced. Under normal operation, the pressure drop between the air inlet and outlet flanges is 800-1000Pa, and the filtration wind speed is 0.5-1.5m/min.

2. High efficiency, the filter cartridge filter media is made of high-quality cellulose filaments, which are coated with resin and have high filtration efficiency. When the inlet dust concentration is less than 1000mg/m3, the clean air emitted has a dust concentration of less than 3mg/m3.

3. Reasonable aerodynamic design. Under normal operation, dusty air enters the dust collector through the top or side, and after filtration, clean air enters the clean air chamber and is discharged from the lower side of the dust collector outside the machine. Dust particles are easier to separate in the downward airflow.

4. Flexible modular structure, which combines various modules flexibly according to different production requirements to form a dust collector as a whole. The external inspection door and flat reinforced support sleeve make the removal and replacement of the filter cartridge faster and more convenient, and ensure the safety of maintenance work.

Under normal operation, the sinking flow filter cartridge dust collector allows dusty air to enter the HR type dust collector through the top inlet, and then disperse downwards through the guide plate before passing through the filter element. The dust is blocked on the outer surface of the filter element, and the filtered clean air enters the clean air chamber through the center of the filter element and is discharged through the outlet pipe.

The filter element of the submerged flow filter cartridge dust collector can automatically and intermittently clean the dust by having only one set (2) of filter elements for offline cleaning at any given time.

During the cleaning process of the filter cartridge dust collector, the pulse controller connects to the power supply of an electromagnetic pulse valve, causing the corresponding thin film valve to spray pulse high-pressure air. The high-pressure air passes through the filter cartridge from inside to outside, removing the dust attached to the outer surface of the filter cartridge. The dust particles fall into the dust hopper and then enter the ash collection bucket.

The pressure adjustment of the compressed air in the sedimentation filter cartridge dust collector is 6kg/cm2, and the compressed air pressure of 6kg/cm2 to 7kg/cm2 is the standard set value that can meet the requirements of the dust cleaning function. The smaller the set value of compressed air pressure, the smaller the air consumption of the pulse valve. The pulse jet control device can generally be adjusted to clean a row of filter elements every two minutes, that is, to connect a pulse valve every two minutes. To increase the energy of the ash, the compressed air pressure can be increased, but it should not exceed 7kg/cm2.
