Standard dust removal cylinder
The standard cylinder is equipped with a polytetrafluoroethylene support ring on the piston to maintain uniform sealing performance during piston movement, achieving the effect of reducing wear and extending service life. The buffer device adopts a new structure from abroad, which can act as a one-way valve, making the cylinder structure more compact and reasonable.
working principle
(1) Cylinder barrel
The inner diameter of the dust removal cylinder represents the output force of the cylinder. The piston needs to slide smoothly back and forth inside the cylinder, and the surface roughness of the cylinder should reach Ra0.8um. For steel pipe cylinder, the inner surface should also be plated with hard chromium to reduce friction resistance and wear, and prevent rust. In addition to using high carbon steel pipes, high-strength aluminum alloy and brass are also used for cylinder materials. Small cylinders may use stainless steel pipes. For cylinders with magnetic switches or used in corrosion-resistant environments, stainless steel, aluminum alloy or brass should be used for cylinder materials
The SMCCM2 cylinder piston adopts a combination sealing ring to achieve bidirectional sealing, and the piston and piston rod are connected by rivets without nuts
(2) End cap
The cylinder end cover is equipped with intake and exhaust ports, and a buffer mechanism is also installed inside the end cover for oil. The rod side end cover is equipped with a sealing ring and a dust ring to prevent air leakage from the piston rod and prevent external dust from entering the cylinder. The rod side end cover is equipped with a guide sleeve to improve the guiding accuracy of the cylinder, withstand a small amount of lateral load on the piston rod, reduce the downward bending of the piston rod when it extends, and extend the service life of the cylinder. The guide sleeve is usually made of sintered oil containing alloy and forward leaning copper castings. The end cover used to be made of malleable cast iron, but now aluminum alloy die-casting is commonly used to reduce weight and prevent rust. Some micro cylinders use brass materials
(3) Piston
The piston is a pressure bearing part in a cylinder. To prevent air leakage between the left and right chambers of the piston, a piston sealing ring is installed. The wear-resistant ring on the piston can improve the guiding performance of the cylinder, reduce the wear of the piston sealing ring, and reduce frictional resistance. The length of the wear-resistant ring is made of materials such as polyurethane, polytetrafluoroethylene, and sandwich synthetic resin. The width of the piston is determined by the size of the sealing ring and the necessary length of the sliding part. If the sliding part is too short, it is easy to cause early wear and jamming. The material of the piston is commonly aluminum alloy and cast iron, and small cylinder pistons are made of brass
(4) Piston rod
The piston rod is the most important load-bearing component in the cylinder. It is usually made of high carbon steel with a hard chrome plated surface or stainless steel to prevent corrosion and improve the wear resistance of the sealing ring
(5) Sealing ring
The sealing of components in rotary or reciprocating motion is called dynamic sealing, while the sealing of stationary parts is called static sealing
