Overview of electrostatic precipitator
An electrostatic precipitator is a device that uses an electrostatic field to separate particulate matter from gas. By applying a high-voltage electric field, tar droplets in the gas are charged and then captured onto a collection plate under the action of the electric field force, thereby achieving the goal of purifying the gas. Electric dust collectors have the advantages of large processing capacity, high efficiency, and low operating costs, and are widely used in fields such as gas purification and flue gas desulfurization.
The main structure of an electrostatic precipitator includes two parts: the electrical system and the tower body.
The electrical system mainly consists of a control cabinet, a high-voltage silicon rectifier, and a corona electrode system, responsible for the current conversion, voltage adjustment, and ionization work of the electrostatic precipitator. The tower body is mainly composed of sedimentation poles, which can be in the form of concentric circles, pipes, or honeycomb structures, each with its specific application scenarios and advantages and disadvantages. The concentric circular electrostatic precipitator is composed of several steel plate cylinders with different diameters. The tubular electrostatic precipitator uses steel pipes and corona wires to form an electric field, while the honeycomb electrostatic precipitator changes the channel cross-section from circular to hexagonal, improving space utilization and purification efficiency.
Maintenance and upkeep of electrostatic precipitators
1. Regular inspection
-Regularly check the condition of high-voltage electrodes and grounding electrodes to ensure that they are not damaged.
-Check the working status of the high-voltage power supply to ensure stable voltage.
2. Dust removal
-Regularly clean the dust according to the usage of the equipment.
-Mechanical vibration, water flushing and other methods can be used for dust removal, and the appropriate method can be selected according to the actual situation.
3. Maintain records
-Establish detailed maintenance records, including information such as the time and method of each dust cleaning.
-Record the operating status of the equipment, promptly identify and solve problems.
