Fiberglass desulfurization tower, as the name suggests, is a desulfurization equipment made mainly of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP, also known as fiberglass). This material is made by compounding high-quality resin with glass fiber cloth, manually stacking or machine extruding, and then undergoing vulcanization reaction and other processes, endowing the desulfurization tower with significant advantages such as lightweight, high strength, and corrosion resistance.
The structure of fiberglass desulfurization tower usually includes several key parts: absorption tower body, spray system, mixing device, and discharge outlet. The absorption tower body is the core part, responsible for contacting and absorbing harmful gases such as sulfur dioxide in the flue gas; The sprinkler system is used to spray desulfurizer, usually an alkaline solution, into the tower to promote the absorption of sulfur dioxide; The stirring device ensures that the desulfurizer can fully contact and mix with the flue gas, improving the desulfurization efficiency; Finally, the exhaust outlet is used to discharge clean flue gas after desulfurization treatment.
Working principle of fiberglass desulfurization tower
The working principle of the fiberglass desulfurization tower is based on chemical reactions. Specifically, it uses alkaline desulfurizers to neutralize sulfur dioxide in the flue gas, generating sulfates or other harmless substances to achieve desulfurization. When the flue gas containing sulfur dioxide enters the desulfurization tower, the desulfurizer is evenly sprayed into the flue gas under the action of the spray system, and the two fully contact and react inside the tower. As the reaction progresses, sulfur dioxide is gradually absorbed and converted into stable compounds, and finally discharged as clean smoke through the exhaust outlet.
