welding smoke treatment equipment
Welding smoke treatment equipment is used for purifying smoke and dust generated during welding, cutting, polishing and other processes, as well as for recycling rare metals and precious materials. It can purify a large amount of small metal particles suspended in the air that are harmful to human health. It has the characteristics of high purification efficiency, low noise, flexible use, and small footprint. Suitable for workplaces that generate smoke, such as handle welding, arc welding, carbon dioxide shielded welding, MAG welding, carbon arc gas gouging welding, gas fusion cutting, special welding, etc. The main components of the equipment include: universal vacuum arm, high temperature resistant vacuum hose, vacuum hood (with air volume regulating valve), flame retardant mesh, flame-retardant high-efficiency filter element, casters with brakes, fan, Huali motor, pulse solenoid valve, etc.
Welding fumes, also known as welding fumes, refer to toxic substances that are often produced during welding operations. Such as acetaldehyde, abietic acid, isocyanates, nitrogen oxides, sulfides, hydrocarbons, etc. Welding fumes are a highly complex substance, with over 20 elements found in the fumes. The most abundant are Fe, Ca, Na, followed by Si, Al, Mn, Ti, Cu, and others. The main harmful substances in welding fumes are Fe2O3, SiO2, MnO, HF, etc. Among them, Fe2O3 has the highest content, generally accounting for 35.56% of the total amount of fumes, followed by SiO2 with a content of 10-20%, and MnO with a content of about 5-20%.
Welding smoke control technology: The types of pollution generated during the welding process are diverse and harmful, which can lead to the occurrence of various occupational diseases (such as welder silicosis, manganese poisoning, electro-optical ophthalmia, etc.), and has become a major environmental hazard. With the deepening of related research and the improvement of treatment technology, welding pollution has been relatively effectively controlled. The pollution during the welding process is severe, causing great harm to the environment and welders. For smoke and dust control, efforts should be made from three aspects: pollution sources, treatment methods, and personal protection.
There are many aspects to the treatment of welding fumes, among which there are mainly three aspects:
1. In terms of craftsmanship
(1) Adopting smoke free and low smoke welding processes
(2) Develop and use low dust and low toxicity welding materials
(3) Improve the mechanization and automation level of welding
2. Take effective ventilation, smoke exhaust and purification measures
3. Personal protection
To prevent the harm of welding fumes to operators and prevent direct inhalation of smoke into human lungs, welders should wear masks, and special welding stations or enclosed places should also wear gas masks. In the workshop equipped with welding auxiliary devices, it is necessary to have self-protection awareness and try to use automated welding processes and mechanized devices to complete welding work, so that operators can stay away from smoke and dust accumulation areas.
